To kick things off, here are some great relaxed poses that will get your Sim sitting and lounging in a few different positions. We may see them on there a lot already – but this list will offer a great range of couch-related poses to make things seem more natural, rather than those rigid sitting positions we’re so used to. So there’s definitely no shortage of pose packs to get them using the couch. And I know a couch is almost always the first thing I drop some Simoleons on with every new game.Īnd there are poses out there for basically everything you could want to see your Sims do. That’s obviously no different in The Sims 4. Not even in The Sims.Ī couch is like a bed, except it’s socially acceptable to spend most of your day there. Turn off Look Ats will stop their heads from moving (you probably want to keep this enabled for most things, as it looks more natural)Īnimation lets you play almost any animation on any Sim, from the idles to the conversations, the solo dances (sadly no animations that require two people, so your Sims can’t slow-dance this way unless you switch on some music and tell them to slow dance). THIS is the cheat you need to keep all those little wandering buggers in place!
Now, when you Shift-left-click on a Sim, you’ll get the following menu:ĭisable Autonomy will make ALL the Sims on the lot do nothing, except what you tell them to do. To access it, open up the cheat console (CTRL + SHIFT + C) and type:
I found something that fixes that, and it’s something so simple: the Movie Maker cheats.Īpparently, you need Generations for this (or you did when it was released I’m not sure if a subsequent patch enabled it for everyone) but give it a try, regardless of whether you have Generations or not.
Want them all sitting down? Soon enough, one or more of them will get out of their chairs, even if you have Sim Autonomy OFF. They won’t bloody well stay where you want them to! Because I’m trying to shoot pics for a large wedding party, I figured I’d eventually run into the bane of every Simmer who attempts to put a lot of Sims into one location:
